CP reaffirms pledge to protect heritage

General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, reiterated the interest of the UAE, under the leadership of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in preserving and promoting its heritage, culture and authentic sports.

Gen. Shaikh Mohammed also praised the large turnout for the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex 2012) which reflected the commitment of the region’s people to the heritage. Gen. Shaikh Mohammed made these remarks as he toured the 10th edition of the exhibition which concluded on Saturday at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre.

Expressing satisfaction at the displayed products, he made note of the national products and the participation of national human recourses in developing hunting equipment and putting the UAE at the forefront of nations seeking to preserve human and environmental heritage.
