Winners ride rollercoaster with Fisichella

ABU DHABI - Yas Marina Circuit’s (YMC) six pairs of Golden Ticket Winners got to ride the world’s fastest rollercoaster with Ferrari driver Giancarlo Fisichella at Ferrari World theme park on Yas Island on Thursday as a jump start to this weekend’s Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Through participating in YMC’s online Facebook competition back in May, six die-hard F1 fans won a Golden Ticket, which entitled them to a tour of Ferrari World with Ferrari driver, Fisichella. The tour included a meet and greet with Fisichella, photograph opportunities and an F1 simulation experience on the adrenaline pumping Formula Rossa at an acceleration of 240 km/h.

“Being huge F1 fans, it is a dream come true to meet three time F1 winner and Ferrari driver Giancarlo Fisichella. Thanks to the Yas Marina Circuit’s Golden Ticket Winner competition, we even got to ride with him on the world’s fastest rollercoaster in the Ferrari World theme park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi” said Prinyanka D’Souza, a Golden Ticket Winner.

Beyond the Ferrari World tour the six pairs of lucky winners are entitled to a pair of Formula 1 Paddock Club tickets; three nights’ accommodation at the Yas Hotel over the Grand Prix weekend; breakfast with an F1 driver; pit garage access during an F1 track session with the opportunity to listen in on the pit-car radio transmissions; a signed photo with an F1 driver of their choice; an exclusive piece of memorabilia signed by all the F1 drivers; VIP guest tickets at the Amber Lounge, F1’s after-party – and more to come..
