Teammate Nico Rosberg will also be on hand, but the attention will be on the return of 41-year-old Schumacher to Grand Prix racing after a four-year hiatus.

Schumacher will be in the Mercedes cockpit on March 14 in Bahrain when the 2010 season begins and he was in Jerez, Spain, this week on a three-day GP2 test which saw him drive 130 laps on Thursday alone.

“I feel fit, I immediately felt well in the car again and I am ready to go,” said Schumacher, who retired in 2006.

“I am very happy with the times, the team worked well and the times were consistent.”

Schumacher signed a three-year deal last December and has said his ambition is to win an eighth World Drivers’ Championship title.
