A little girl has died in a tragic accident when the bouncy castle she was playing in exploded, flinging her 20 feet into the air.
The horrifying incident occurred on Sunday at Gorleston beach in Norfolk, England, when beachgoers heard a huge bang as the bouncy castle exploded.
Eyewitnesses saw the girl, believed to be around four, hurled into the air and called for emergency services. The girl was seriously injured and suffered a cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived, frantically trying to keep her alive with CPR. She was rushed to James Paget Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The owner of bouncy castle, Curt Johnson, 47, was not present at the time of the tragedy but said the inflatable may have exploded in the heat as the temperatures reached 23 Degrees Celsius.
"It is very upsetting. We have been at the beach for a very long time, definitely a number of years and it is the first accident we have had there and it is quite shocking," Johnson was quoted as saying in Daily Mail.
