A child swallowed highly poisonous acidic cleanser while playing near an a/c undergoing repairs at her home in Abu Dhabi.
The 2-year-old girl suffered major second and third-degree internal burns in her respiratory and digestive systems, as per Al Khaleej report.
She was admitted to the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City hospital in critical condition and suffering from immense pain.
Doctors ascertained the damage to her organs and proceeded with the treatment.
Her primary mode of nourishment was intravenous as her body continued to mend. Medical treatment was also administered to help heal the severe burns.
She left the hospital ten days after being admitted.
