Training for parents of special needs kids

Al Jalila Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to transform lives by making long-term contributions to healthcare, has teamed up with the British University in Dubai (BUiD) to train parents of children with disabilities as part of its Ta’louf (Arabic for harmony) to enhance the quality of life for children with developmental orders.

Through the programme, up to 55 parents of children with special needs per batch will be trained for behavioural therapy to aid parenting.
