School Operations executive director Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri has approved the examination schedule for the first semester for Grades 6 to 11 across schools in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, beginning from November 18.
He announced that mainstream school examinations for Grades 6 to 9 will be from December 9 to December 12.
Grade 12 Literature students across public and private schools, Home Education and Adult Learning Centres will sit for their exams from November 28 to December 13 while their peers in the Science stream will take their exams from December 4 to December 13.
Al Dhaheri said students would not be examined in two subjects on the same exam day, in order to allow a stress-free pre-examination review.
Preparations for these exams were in full swing and all measures would be taken to create a quiet examination atmosphere, he said.— olivia@khaleejtimes.com
