The question facing educators is simply “Does growing up with technology change the way students learn enough to require changes in the methods used by teachers?”

Eight professional educators from the Masters of Education programme at Murdoch University, Dubai gathered before a forum of other education professionals to debate this topic. After a spirited and well researched debate, the debaters and audience were left with a better understanding of the topic and a desire to further research the subject to enhance their students’ learning.

FOR THE RESOLUTION

Students’ brains are wired differently due to growing up with technology and teaching methods must be changed to teach them effectively.
