Led by faculty members Jeffrey Kenney, Professor of Religious Studies, and Harry Brown, Assistant Professor of English Literature, they visited four of the seven emirates, to tour universities and interact with people to examine first-hand the transformations the various emirates have undergone.

A key aspect of the course was to examine the role of the expatriate community in the transformation of the Emirates.

Each year, DePauw University students travel to specific regions for a two-to three-week intensive learning experience.
