Adec online satisfaction survey among students

The Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) is calling on parents and students in the emirate to share their thoughts and opinion about the performance of their schools through an online survey at the council’s website.

The satisfaction survey is divided into two parts. The first part targets parents whose children go to the public and private schools across the emirate while the second pasrt is for Grade 5 to 12 students in government schools.

Parent’s questionnaire focuses on several areas including teaching, school improvement, communication with school facilities and learning environment, school performance, quality of school leadership and teaching staff.

Questions for the students, meanwhile, aim to identify their views and degree of satisfaction, quality of services provided, areas of improvement, school environment and level of communication between parents and schools, which will help the Adec develop appropriate programmes, plans and initiatives.

Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Adec Director-General, underscored the importance of the survey in measuring school perfromance and improving quality of education in the emirate.

“Feedback will be used to make more informed decisions while developing and improving school programmes regularly,” said Dr Masood Badri, Executive Director of Research and Planning Office at the Adec.
