But, the court exonerated the man of the charge of selling the drug pills to a minor called H.M, 11, who was ordered by court to be kept at the Juveniles Care Home.

In May last year, the competent authorities were informed that the 26-year-old convict, Kh.S, a GCC national, was using hashish. Upon detention, he was found to be in an abnormal mental state. After a drug test, he tested positive to hashish. On being questioned, he confessed that he had been pushing the drug pills to an adolescent. In another case, the court of appeals upheld the lower court’s ruling condemning an Arab man, 31, to four years in prison after he was found guilty of possessing and using narcotics.
