An Arab man stood trial at the Ras Al Khaimah criminal court on charges of stealing number plates of a car and putting them on his car.
As per the court records, the accused is facing charges of posing as another person, claiming identity, and stealing his money.
The defendant told the court, presided over by Chief Judge Sameh Shaker, that he used the number plates of a car issued by the traffic department of another emirate. The defendant denied stealing any money from the complainant, though. "I did not pose as another person or steal any money from any one." The case was adjourned for further hearings.
