He added that the police received information from some traders in the beginning of this month about a trader who sold counterfeit spare parts to them. The police formed a team and started investigation which resulted in detecting the movement of two traders who drove pickup cars to a warehouse in Sharjah.
In coordination with the Sharjah Police, the Dubai cops raided the warehouse and found a large quantity of goods ready for distribution. The two men who were arrested confessed that they were fake spare parts.
The police confiscated the goods and notified the municipality to withdraw the spare parts distributed by the duo from the market. The suspects have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
