A gang of four thieves targeted commercial establishments in Sharjah and stole jewellery, watches and crystal ware, a Sharjah court heard recently.
The four Georgians have been charged with theft in the Sharjah Sharia Court.
The police said they received eight complaints about thefts from commercial establishments in the industrial areas of the emirate. The thefts were committed in a "professional manner", said the police.
Investigations led the police to the suspects, who were living in an apartment in the Budang area of Sharjah. The police raided the apartment and arrested the four defendants and a Russian woman. The police recovered a part of the stolen goods from the apartment.
