A source at the Saqr Hospital in Ras Al Khaimah, where the workers are admitted, said that they sustained serious and moderate injuries and are receiving treatment in the ICU of the hospital.

Col. Abdullah Al Munkhas, Director of the Traffic Department of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, said that this was the second major accident in the last two days occurred because of speeding. Earlier on Thursday night, a 15-year-old Emirati boy was killed on the spot and two others suffered serious injuries in an accident on Al Saleh Road.

Col. Al Munkhas said that the boy was driving his father’s car without licence. He was speeding when he lost control over the vehicle, which crashed into an electric post.
