The Pakistan Cricket Board released a statement Thursday saying that Abbottabad has been replaced by Islamabad, which will host the match on Wednesday.

The PCB didn’t give a reason for the switch. Abbottabad is the city where bin Laden was killed on May 2.

Islamabad will stage the first ODI, the second is at Rawalpindi on May 27 and Faisalabad now hosts the last match two days later.

Afghanistan will be the first foreign cricket team to tour Pakistan since gunmen killed six police officials and a van driver during an attack on Sri Lankan team bus at Lahore in March 2009.
