DUBAI - Le Meriden Dubai, Dubai International Airport Hotel and Intercon Festival City scored victories in the T10 Hospitality Cup 2011, an inter-hotel cricket tournament at ICC GCA ground in Dubai Sports City.
Le Meriden beat Media Rotana by 67 runs. Le Meridien posted 137-3 in 10 overs. Dhanshuka Veersinghe top scored with 33 while captain Prasanga Vithanage was unbeaten on 29. In reply, man-of-the-match Asanka Priyantha bagged four wickets to derail Media Rotana chase as they were bundled out for 70 runs. In another match, Toufiq Hayat scored an unbeaten 31 and accounted for 2 wickets to propel Dubai International Airport Hotel to a comfortable seven-wicket win over Karama Hotel. Fortune scored an easy eight-wicket win over Ernie Els Club Dubai. Intercon Festival City downed Le Meridien Mina Seyahi by eight wickets.
