India rebounded from its 205 all out as off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and fit-again fast bowler Zaheer Khan shared seven wickets on Monday to rip through South Africa’s lineup and leave the home team trailing by 74 runs.

Harbhajan led with 4-10 and Zaheer had 3-36 as South Africa lost six wickets for 57 runs in a 21-over collapse after lunch. It was its second-lowest first-innings score at Kingsmead, with Hashim Amla the Proteas’ top-scorer with 33.

South Africa leads the three-match series 1-0.
