In return, Indian Islahi were bowled out for 72. Anson Quadros was the pick of their bowling with two for 12 from four overs.

Bikramjeet Singh delivered a captain’s performance for Sherwood, as they kept their hopes alive of reaching the last four in the Under 16 division.

Singh hit 73 and took two for 12 from three overs to lead his team to a 112-run victory over the British School-Al Khubairat. He arrived at the crease when two wickets had fallen for 15 to produce a match-winning knock, hitting nine fours and a six in 62 deliveries.

Sherwood and ADIS will now clash for the last semifinal spot behind Cambridge, Model and Indian Islahi in the U16.
