The caracal has now been handed over to a zoo, which will provide the appropriate care and environment for the animal
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority, on Tuesday hosted a Covid-19 vaccination campaign at its headquarters for its employees and their families.
More than 200 people received the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine during the campaign, which supports the UAE’s ongoing efforts to vaccinate 50 per cent of the country’s population by the end of first quarter of 2021.
Hamad Buamim, President & CEO of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the strong turnout reflected the growing awareness of the importance of the Covid-19 vaccination in ensuring the health and safety of UAE citizens and residents and supporting country’s economic recovery and transition back to normal life.
“We are all responsible and we have a shared duty to protect the health and safety of all members of society. By joining this campaign and supporting the UAE’s ongoing vaccination efforts, we can be part of the solution, make a positive impact and pave the way to recovery,” he added.
The UAE serves as a leading example demonstrating how public and private sector stakeholders are working closely together to address common challenges, Buamim added.
He also pointed out that the country has positioned itself at the forefront of the global Covid-19 vaccine race after reaching the milestone of 5 million administered doses earlier this month.
