Public and recreational facilities in Abu Dhabi will be closed until further notice, authorities in Abu Dhabi have announced.
"To protect the public's health and safety, Abu Dhabi Municipality closed public and recreational facilities until further notice," the Abu Dhabi municipality tweeted.
Last week, all cinemas, theme parks, amusement games and electronic game centres, bodybuilding and fitness gyms, and spring camps licensed in Dubai were ordered to halt all their activities and services until end of March 2020 to protect the public from the Covid-19 coronavirus.
