As a safety measure, the Indian High School in Dubai has decided to close its schools starting Thursday, March 5. (Coronavirus outbreak: All the latest updates)
Parents were sent SMS messages on Wednesday afternoon from the school, which said, "As a precautionary measure, the Indian High School group of schools will be closed on Thursday, March 5. A detailed circular about the exams will be e-mailed. Your wellbeing is important."
A school official told Khaleej Times, "The CBSE board examinations that is set to take place in the Indian High School will go ahead as scheduled, unless and until the CBSE board advises otherwise. However, all internal examinations have been officially cancelled and children will be graded on the basis of their annual performance."

Students of all grades are presently attempting their final term examinations and a school official told Khaleej Times internal exams will be conducted online, or the children will be graded based on their performance over the year.
The Indian High School is a center for the board exams and several hundred students from various other Indian curriculum schools in Dubai attempt their examination paper at IHS.
