The UAE government, in coordination with the government of Germany, has repatriated 329 German tourists to their country after they were stuck in Ras Al Khaimah for a week as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak.
The move, is in line with the UAE's ongoing efforts towards reducing the risk of the coronavirus spread and transmission at the local and global levels, reflecting the country's tolerant and human approach.
The bodies concerned at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport conducted the necessary check-ups for all passengers before take-off using the latest medical devices at the airport.
The passengers then boarded two planes on Saturday, March 29, at exactly 1pm and 2pm local time in the presence of the German Consul General Holger Mahnicke.
A number of tourists of different nationalities, including three from Poland, two from Turkey, and one from Romania, Croatia and Kosovo were also on board the two planes.
