The Bahrain health ministry on Thursday reported 610 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 503 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 339 were among expatriate workers, 265 were contacts of active cases, and six were travel related.
No new deaths have been reported, and the total tally remains at 98.
As many as 9,391 Covid-19 tests were carried out on July 8, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 26,073.
There are currently 56 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 85 cases receiving treatment. 4,704 cases are stable out of a total of 4,760 active cases.
