Oman announces 51 new coronavirus cases, total tally crosses 2,000 mark

The Ministry of Health in Oman on Monday announced the registration of 51 new Covid-19 coronavirus cases. Thirty-seven of the new cases are Omanis and 14 are non-Omanis.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases in the Sultanate to 2,049, in addition to 10 death cases.

The ministry also pointed out that 364 cases have recovered.

The ministry calls upon all to adhere to the health isolation procedures.

The ministry also advises citizens and residents to keep on washing hands with water and soap, as well as avoiding touching the face, nose, mouth and eyes, and following healthy habits when coughing and sneezing.
