Bollywood dreams

Meet movie star Urvashi Rautela at this party. Taking place at Dubai’s Palazzo Versace from 7.30pm, the Virgin Bhanupriya actor will be making an appearance amongst the evening’s merriment. Give 2020 the biggest possible send off at Atlantis, The Palm’s New Year’s Eve concert featuring rock legends KISS. The two Arabic stars will perform as part of a double bill show at the Festival Arena, Dubai Festival City. Celebrated for his romantic and heartfelt love songs, Wael will look to charm the evening’s audience and Mouhamad will no doubt delight fans of his tunes. Russian standard

Charismatic singer Lolita will perform at what always promises to be a memorable New Year’s Eve party at the Burj Al Arab. A firm favourite with Russian language music fans, the artist will sing her biggest and best songs as part of the gala evening at the iconic Dubai hotel in Jumeirah. Designer duo

If you’re looking for extravagant style, one of the most exclusive parties in Dubai is being hosted by fashion icons Dean and Dan of DSquared2 and party impresario Bong Guerrero at the newly launched ME Dubai. A Retro Space Cowboy themed night starting at 9pm at The Atrium by Zaha Hadid, expect an out of this world aerial performance to kick off the evening accompanied by DJ Shezhad K and soulful/ eclectic tunes from Saxokid. As caviar and canapes are served, the night continues at Deseo, a Latin affair with handcrafted Latin libations and an energetic performance by live dancers and performers. Online fun

TikTok is moving its regular live party solely onto its platform this year, so log onto @TikTokMENA_LIVE from 9pm. To kick off the night expect stand-up comedy from the region’s favourites like Shadi Alfons, Wonho Chung, and Ali Al Sayed. Those who tune in will also have the chance to hear some of the upcoming TikTok singers from MENA such as Saudi-based singer Timba, Sandra Sahi, and the popular Lebanese DJ Rodge, among others. Dancing, magic and sports will also be hosted during the night before cutting to the Burj Khalifa light show at midnight.

RAK city

She’s an Emirati favourite and she’s performing at the Al Hamra International Centre in Ras Al Khaima. You all know and love Balqees, who will be performing with Majid Al Mohandis. Tickets are going from Dh657. VIP and Plainum tickets include all food and premium drinks. All categories get to see the entertainment and RAK fireworks. Doors open at 8pm.

Nassif deal

Fans of Arabic pop sensation Nassif Zeytoun can watch him at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Nicknamed ‘Abou Elias’, Nassif is loved across the region for his hit song Mesh Aam Tezbat Maae among other popular tracks. Tickets are available from Platinumlist and dubaicalendar.com
