Countries are distancing itself from the developed economies with the intent to safeguard their own sovereign interest

When you have 51.2 million Instagram followers (which is around five times the population of Sweden by the way), you have an unprecedented ability to disseminate information across a wide spectrum of society - direct to the devices in individuals' pockets. And as Spider-Man's uncle once said: "Peter, for crying out loud, get off the roof!" It was a trying afternoon that day. However he also later imparted the now immortal phrase: "with great power comes great responsibility." It is a mantra Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra took to heart on Tuesday evening, using her aforementioned social media presence to broadcast a live question and answer session with World Health Organisation experts, Dr. Tedros and Maria Van Kerkhove, about coronavirus advice.
Merely the highlight reel of the 37-year-old's 45-minute Instagram Live discussion has attracted over two million views.
The address began with Chopra's personal thoughts and fears about the situation before connecting with the medically trained duo to put forward a number of queries and concerns Chopra received from her followers.
Questions included: "Is COVID-19 vulnerable to heat?" To which Van Kerkhove responded, "This is a virus, so it's not a bacteria. The virus can spread to different temperatures, we've seen it spread to cold temperatures in Northern China and we've seen it spread in warmer temperatures in Africa and Singapore." Informative stuff.
Watch the replay highlights below.

and right now we're all searching for clarity. My friends at @WHO and @glblctzn graciously brought the doctors working on the front lines here to give us answers straight from the experts. Please take some time to watch my IG Live with Dr. Tedros (General-Director at W.H.O.) and Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove (Technical Lead for Covid-19) from @WHO, who answered some questions that so many of you sent in. Guys, let's make it our duty to donate to @WHO and stand in solidarity to help flatten the curve (link is up in my bio ????) and please tag your friends and family below who are looking for answers and action steps ?? Thank you so much Dr. Tedros and Dr. Maria for taking the time, and thank you @glblctzn for everything you do. Everyone please be responsible, stay home and stay safe ?? #Covid19 #Coronavirus #WorldHealthOrganizationView this post on Instagram
