Kunchacko season
This could rightly be called the season of Kunchacko Boban as he has three back-to-back releases before the big industry releases in mid-April.
While the first film to release, Konthayum Poonoolum, has been almost unilaterally panned as an incoherent, multi-linear film, Kunchacko is pinning his hopes on the next two. One is director M Padmakumar’s Poly Technic, where the actor plays a politician. The third is Law Point, directed by Lijin Jose, in which he plays a lawyer.
After some remarkable successes in the past two years, the actor saw his career fortunes dipping with the relatively less impressive show of Vishudhan and Kathaveedu.
All eyes are however now on the big movie releases like Mammootty’s newest film Gangster in which he sports a salt-n’ pepper hairstyle, much like Mohanlal in Mr. Fraud, directed by B. Unnikrishnan. Another anticipated movie is Prithviraj’s 7th day, a crime thriller directed by Shyamdhar.
