Stars expected include the film's lead actors Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Shruti Haasan, and Nana Patekar, producer Firoz Nadiadwala, director Anees Bazmee, and musician Mika Singh.
The global premiere is set to be followed by a major fan event on September 3, allowing the public a chance to meet the cast.
Mana Al Suwaidi, Regional Director - Middle East & Sub-Continent, Dubai Tourism said, "Dubai is a vibrant hub of entertainment and is featured in the film, which is why Dubai Tourism is hosting the global premiere of Welcome Back."
Further commenting, Jamal Al Sharif, Chairman of Dubai Film and TV Commission and Managing Director of Dubai Studio City said, "Dubai plays an iconic role in Welcome Back, with scenes shot across the Emirate in a number of unique locations. We are very pleased that Dubai has also been chosen as the location for the premiere, which reinforces the Emirate's position as a key part of the Bollywood production value chain. We have seen a real increase in the number of Bollywood productions selecting Dubai as the location of choice for filming, screenings and premieres over the past few years, including blockbusters such as Happy New Year and Hamari Adhuri Kahani, and look forward to continued close ties with India to support productions and films of all sizes."
