The group, headed by V. M Raj Shetty, currently operates 32 hotels in the Gulf and India. “With the new addition, the group’s portfolio will expand to 41 properties,” said a spokesman of the chain. The five-star hotels will be in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahraian and Bangalore.
The 320-room five-star hotel in Dubai, Ramee Grand Hotel, will be located in Business Bay, while the 300-room Ramee Grand Hotel Abu Dhabi will be on Reem Island.
As a multi-national company, the Ramee Group currently operate and manage properties in the budget segment as hotels, resorts and apartments in the UAE, Bahrain, India and Oman. - issacjohn@khaleejtimes.com
