"With our Visa Corporate Card, companies can now provide their executives with a more efficient, yet simpler way of handling business expenses while providing for grater control over their finances," said Khalid bin Deemas Al Suwaidi, head of retail banking group at NBAD.
The cards are accepted worldwide and can be used for everything from airfares and car rentals to accommodation, dining and entertainment of clients, he said.
Key features include set spending limits with corporate billing and free travel insurance when the card is used to pay for travel. This includes travel accident insurance of $150,000 and travel inconvenience insurance to compensate for lost or delayed baggage, flight delays and cancellations.
Businesses will also find it easier to track and control-spending patterns of various departments, Al Suwaidi said. As the card is a charge card, requiring full settlement on the due date, businesses are assured of a zero per cent interest rate on retail transactions.
