Logicom is new distributor of Fujitsu Siemens
DUBAI — Fujitsu Siemens Computers has appointed Logicom as a new distributor for its range of desktops, laptops, servers and accessories in the UAE, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar.
As per the agreement, Logicom will be responsible for logistics, stock availability, credit arrangements, channel marketing and relationship management with resellers.
Farid Sabbagh, SME and Channel Manager, Middle East, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, said: “The abundant presence of IT vendors demands strategic moves aimed at effectively tapping the market potential. Fujitsu Siemens Computers gives major importance to the selection of distributors. The appointment of Logicom is in line with our long-term goal of strengthening our market position in the four key countries since our 2tier Channel is expanding and we are reaching wider breadth of Customers.’’
Logicom has already placed orders with Fujitsu Siemens Computers, and full-fledged distribution operations are due in February 2005.
