Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on Tuesday inaugurated Dubai International Boat Show.
The show, which is highlighting regional and international launches from more than 800 companies and brands from 55 countries, will continue until Saturday.
Gulf Craft showcased its innovations, including two luxury superyachts in its Majesty Yachts brand and an oceangoing yacht from the Nomad Yachts series, on the first day of the Dubai International Boat Show on Tuesday.
The debuts were part of the shipyard's display of 14 bespoke yachts and boats - valued at approximately Dh190 million.
Mohammed Hussein Al Shaali, chairman of Gulf Craft, said: "The Dubai International Boat Show resonates deeply with Gulf Craft and we look forward to the event every year to reaffirm our commitment to customers and to devoted seafarers in the region. The show serves not only as a key international platform for showcasing our latest craft, but also an opportunity to represent the UAE as a global player in the leisure marine industry." New to Gulf Craft's Majesty Yachts brand of luxury yachts are the Majesty 110 and the Majesty 90. At 33 metres in length, the three-deck Majesty 110 has ample interior space, abundant outdoor entertainment features and numerous amenities, including a spacious garage that is large enough to store a dinghy and a jet ski. The Majesty 90 features leather furnishings and parquet flooring in the main saloon through to marble countertops in the four en-suite staterooms. At 27.5 metres, the Majesty 90 offers a 360-degree view from its interior. Onboard space allows the owner to customise the fly-bridge to either fit a dinghy, jet ski, or an even larger seating area.
The yacht and boat builder also premiered the addition to its Nomad Yachts long-range series, the Nomad 55. It features a main saloon, a fully-equipped large galley, four guest cabins, three bathrooms and a room for two crew. The Nomad 55's hybrid hull has been designed by British yacht designer Andrew Wolstenholme. Reaching speeds of up to 25 knots using twin 690 hp engines, the Nomad 55 can travel long distances without having to make frequent fuel stops. Gulf Craft is also showcasing its award-winning Majesty 122, Majesty 135 and other 2016 models.
The Dubai International Boat Show is on until March 5 at the Dubai International Marine Club Mina Seyahi.
