The exhibition will draw companies engaged in the business of horticulture, gardening, irrigation, land reclamation, and management of water resources apart from others sub sectors of agriculture, said Giacomo Ustignani, MD of Eima Gulf.

Speaking to reporters in Abu Dhabi, Giacomo said that the reason for holding the show in the capital was because the UAE and other nations from Gulf region have started investing heavily in the corporate farming sector in Pakistan, Sudan and countries in the North Africa to achieve food security.

With the access to huge capital from the Gulf region, the agriculture sector of South Asia and MENA region would get the necessary investments into their farm sector to raise farm output, he added. The agriculture show will provide the necessary penetration into the UAE market and open opportunities for cooperation in the area of agriculture.
