His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, hailed the UAE for ranking third in the world for being the most prepared for change.

KPMG's 2017 Change Readiness Index also ranked the UAE as first among Mena countries for its readiness to change.

Sheikh Mohammed said on his Instagram account: "A new report puts UAE in the third position globally in its ability to keep up with economic and technical changes and its readiness for various events. The private sector in the UAE is the first in the world in terms of readiness to change and keep updated on events around it."

"The UAE is capable of dealing with various events and changes, and this flexibility and harmony between the public and private sectors is necessary to maintain and maximise our gains," Sheikh Mohammed added.

The UAE scored one on enterprise capability, two on government capability and 17 on people and civil society capability.
