Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's much anticipated sports-drama film 'Sultan' will release on July 6 on the occasion of Eid.
Yash Raj Films made the release date announcement on Monday.

Produced by Aditya Chopra and written-directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, 'Sultan' features Salman and Anushka Sharma as wrestlers.

Interestingly, it will witness a five-day opening weekend at the box office as July 6 is a Wednesday.
"'Sultan' advance booking for the 5-day festive weekend will start on Sunday, July 3, 2016 across India," tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
The title track, 'Khoon Mein Tere Mitti', has been sung by singer Sukhwinder Singh. The song also features actor Randeep Hooda, who plays Salman's coach, while Anushka plays a female wrestler, Aarfa - Sultan's love interest.
Composed by Vishal-Shekhar, the lyrics of the song have been penned by Irshad Kamil. While the song's music and lyrics are extremely powerful, Salman's tough bodybuilding scenes in the video will be a delight for his fans.
Ali Abbas Zafar also shared some new stills from the film.
Industry experts believe 'Sultan' will be a box office winner considering Salman's score at the ticket counters since the past few years.
