A UNESCO report found that journalists and news outlets reporting on environmental issues dealt with about 750 attacks in the past 15 years
Emirates is not planning to buy a stake in Australian airline Qantas, a report said on Monday, despite the government moving to loosen foreign ownership restrictions on the struggling carrier.
But Emirates chairman Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Emirates airline and Chief Executive of the Emirates Group, said his company, the Middle East’s largest airline whose profits surged 43 per cent in 2013, had no plans to buy a stake.
“As we stated when the partnership began, neither airline is looking to take an equity stake in the other,” Shaikh Ahmed told the Australian Financial Review.
