Brides in India seem to be taking 'liberty' to a new level.
Instead of getting herself loaded in kilos of lehenga, a Punjabi bride chose to wear shorts on her wedding, NDTV reported.
The groom, however, was fully dressed in wedding attire.
The pictures and video of the bride have taken the social media by storm leaving netizens amazed and some shocked.
The bride is seen wearing a red embellished top and heavy dupatta matched with bridal jewellery. She has bright bridal makeup on and also wears golden stilettoes.
However, instead of wearing a shirt/lehenga to complete the look, she is seen wearing black Nike shorts.
She walks confidently hand-in-hand with her husband at her wedding.
Indian bridal dresses are usually heavily embellished and weigh in kilos, and often cause discomfort to the bride. However, this Punjabi bride seems to love her freedom and comfort more than the wedding trends.
