DUBAI - Most of the country has been experiencing volatile weather conditions over the week, with partly cloudy skies and 20 per cent chance of rain expected over the next few days.

According to the National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), temperatures are expected to keep falling, with a highest of 27 degree Celsius and lowest of 17 degree Celsius along the coast.

A few towering clouds have been forming over the north-eastern part of the country, indicative of possible showers in a few days’ time.

The NCMS also expect fresh winds blowing from the South at 20 km/h in the mornings, shifting to the North-Westerly by afternoon. The moderate winds could cause sand to rise and spread, and may reduce horizontal visibility for those in the interiors of the country at times.

Road users should remain alert, especially if driving along highways, away from the coast. The sea is expected to be rough in general.
