Two new judges take oath before President

ABU DHABI - Two new judges took their oath today before The President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan at a special ceremony held at the Mushrif Palace.

The President wished the new judges, Abdurrasool Mohammed Tantawi and Arafa Ahmed Sayyid Ali Daree, all success in their tasks for the achievement of justice among the people without fear or favour, by becoming models of fairness, impartiality, and devotion to their work.

He also reminded them to set their eyes in the fear of God when issuing judgments on disputes among people.

The President emphasised that the UAE is a country of justice and equality that appreciate the role of judges in the administration of justice among the people.

He also reminded them that justice is a right for all and the rule of law prevails over everything.

The President also stressed the need for speedy disposition of cases in accordance with Islamic law and the laws in force in the country.
