Temperature soars to new highs in capital
ABU DHABI — The onslaught of summer has started and the temperature is soaring to new heights.
Capital city marked the highest temperature yesterday with a maximum of 42 degrees and humidity of 75 per cent.
Many did not venture out during the lunch time. “I think today is the hottest in last two months. I could not even wait for a taxi to go home in the afternoon,” said a supermarket sales girl.
