Those who attended included Fawzeya Hassan bin Ghareeb, Director of the Sharjah Educational Zone; Majid Abdulla Bu Shelebi, Secretary-General of the Scientific Forum; Ahmed Sulaim Al Hamadi, Director-General of the Youth Centres; and Ihsan Musabah Al Swaidi, Director-General of the Childhood Centres.
Al Hamadi said that the youth centres would be organising a number of projects during summer time, including the Oasis project, the distinctive students project and the Al Umrah trip for the participating youth.
“The centre will organise various activities in various fields including the cultural, scientific, computer science, religious, swimming, social, music and arts. As part of the Oasis 2005 project, the youth centres will organise a number of lectures, session, educational competitions, workshops in addition to an entertainment trip that will be arranged for youth aged between 12 to 18,” he said.
