The two-week national drive that focused on eliminating disabilities was held under the patronage of Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairperson of the UAE General Women’s Association and President of the Family Development Foundation.

“The kind patronage of Shaikha Fatima ‘The Mother of the Nation’ was very supportive in making the campaign a success,” said Mohammed Al Hamili, Deputy Chairperson of the organisation.

The campaign was participated by a large number of medical personnel and social workers and highlighted ways and means of preventing different forms of disabilities. Various methods were explored to enable the people with special needs to intermingle with society.
