Galadari Automobiles celebrated Sharjah Heritage Days with "Sharjah in Our Hearts" - a convoy of Mazdas that toured the emirate's historical and cultural sights.
The drive included stops at Sharjah Fort Museum (once the home of Sharjah's ruling family), Sharjah Discovery Centre, Sharjah Heritage Museum and Al Qasimia University, concluding at Galadari Automobiles' new Sharjah showroom at Al Hind Tower.
It was designed to reveal the past, present and the future of Sharjah as it develops as a regional economic and tourism hub. The drive was designed as a positive demonstration of Mazda's campaign to promote safe driving, improve the environment and recognise the heritage and culture of the Emirate of Sharjah, as well as mark the opening of Galadari's new Mazda showroom in Al Qasba.
The initiative was supported by the Emirates Motor Sport Federation in coordination with the Sharjah Museum Department, the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Sharjah Police, Sharjah Municipality, Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), Al Qasimia University and Sharjah Media Corporation.
"I am so happy with the slogan Sharjah in Our Hearts as it reflects how the city is a beating heart spreading goodness, science and culture all over the world. Al Qasimia University is evidence of Sharjah's leading role in the service of humanity and its happiness," said Dr Rashed Salem, Chancellor of Al Qasimia University.
"As Sharjah develops into a major business centre and tourist destination, it's important for companies to act responsibly to retain the character of the environment and recognise Sharjah's rich heritage," added Yousif Al Mutawa, 'Heart of Sharjah' Manager.
