Princess Haya visits Education Ministry
DUBAI — Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the office of the Ministry of Education.
She was received by the Minister of Education Dr Hanif Hassan.
Dr Hassan paid tribute to Shaikh Mohammed for supporting and promoting education and encouraging students to achieve excellence in learning.
The minister also paid tribute to Princess Haya for her initiatives and direct supervision of many educational projects in Dubai, and for providing the governmental schools with the latest teaching methods.
Princess Haya met with education experts at the Planning and Policies Office affiliated to the office of the Ministry of Education. She was briefed about the past and future education projects.
During her visit, Princess Haya also met with two distinguished students who are recipients of the Hamdan bin Rashid Award for Distinguished Academic Performance.
