Playgrounds of violations

AL WASL neighbourhood, as well as some other areas in Satwa, Bur Dubai etc, needs more than just being issued a list of violations and imposing fines. The head of the building inspection section in the municipality, Eng. Marwan Abdullah, admitted that his section alone has recorded more than 900 violations recently, in terms of hygiene or constructions without licence.

This huge number of violations reflects on the fact that some areas have become playgrounds of violations, which negatively effects development and the modern image of Dubai and UAE. The actions of those who live in the Al Wasl neighbourhood have passed all ethical boundaries, as mentioned in Al Bayan newspaper.

Leasing property is controlled through laws and regulations, and it is not acceptable that some areas be left alone to become cesspools of social illness.
