Khalid Hussain Chaudhry, President of Pakistan Social Centre in Sharjah, congratulates Pakistan for being a brave nation

I wholeheartedly congratulate Islamic Republic of Pakistan and its citizens on the 72nd Independence Day of the country; a day of dedication and pride for the people of Pakistan for being one of the bravest nations on earth.
While it is a magnificent day for all Pakistanis, it also reminds us the history of our country and the freedom fighters who struggled for Independence with limited resources and sacrificed their lives for us to have a very easy, peaceful and independent life today and to enjoy freedom.
This is a time for celebration; a time for family, friends, and community. To bring them together, Pakistan Social Centre, Sharjah is organising several events throughout the month of August, including Sports Competition (which was held on August 9), Independence Day celebrations (August 16), Family Stage Drama (August 22) and the Azaadi Mushaira (Freedom Poetic Symposium).
I request Pakistani community members to join us for the celebrations.
