One dead, 14 hurt in accidents

Major Yaslam Mubarak Al Tamimi, Head of Investigations and Serious Accidents Section, said the causes of the accidents included speeding, inattentiveness and traffic signal violation.

Motorists should observe speed limits and be more cautious and attentive at the wheel, he said, adding that they must reduce speed, particularly at the junctions, and keep enough space between the vehicles, Al Tamimi added.
