Paras Shahdadpuri, Chairman of the Nikai Group of Companies, has emerged as one of the biggest names in the business industry. He was a diplomat for the Indian Foreign Services when he quit his career and decided to pursue a different path.
He started Nikai with a single vision in mind: to create a world-class product at an affordable price. This was his winning formula. Shahdadpuri recognised that in the target space that he was addressing, the only gap was 'reliability'.
Thus, 'reliability' became the cornerstone and the most crucial value of the brand. One word, but it encompasses all aspects of the offering such as: quality-commitment, service-integrity, technological development and after-sales service. He has varied business interests in FMCG, Staffing & Outsourcing, and Digital transformation Solutions.
"When you are reliable, it means you are a brand that delivers what it promises. When you are reliable, it means you are honest in delivering quality at a reasonable price, you are dependable and trustworthy." Hence, Nikai's manifesto, 'Mr. Reliable', is one of the primary attributes that contribute to the brand's tremendous success.
Nikai stands tall as an international competitive brand that boasts around 60 million satisfied customers with an amazing line-up of over 400 products. With his practical wisdom and natural intuition for business, the global brand is now a name to be reckoned with.
As Chairman, he was awarded the Bharat Shiromani Award by former Prime Minister of India I K Gujral for his outstanding achievements in business and community service. He has also received numerous awards like CEO International Achievement Award, Indian innovator award, Top Indian Leaders in the UAE by Forbes and Arabian Business magazines, and a lot more.
When it comes to giving back to the community, Paras never fails to step forward. He believes that one's life is not complete until social responsibilities towards the society are performed. He is an active supporter of Dubai Autism Group, Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs, Rashid Centre for the determined and innumerable charities in India as well.
Shahdadpuri has a passion for community service. The Indian Business and Professional Council elected him as its President for the tenure 2009-2011, then once again as its president for the tenure from 2013-2015. He developed IBPC as the catalyst for the growth of India-UAE economic and trade relationship. Currently, he is the President of the Business Leaders Forum (BLF).
Under his leadership, the Nikai Group has established Nikai Awards for the Best Teacher and Best Student in the UAE. Throughout the years, the company has been generously contributing to different educational institutions in the UAE and NGOs in India. Recently, Nikai were also part of the Angels Award (the-first-of-its-kind), recognising the services rendered by the nurses in Dubai.
Shahdadpuri has been a subject of case studies and appeared in a variety of TV Channels and other media in China, India, and the UAE. The thought that befits his life work can be summarised in one sentence: Paras Shahdadpuri is truly a man of honour with a mind of a businessman, a heart of a gentleman and vision of a statesman.
