Khalifa, Rulers exchange greetings

ABU DHABI — The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received here yesterday at the Emirates Palace Hotel Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the emirates, Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was present at the reception during which the UAE leaders exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the UAE National Day. Shaikh Khalifa received His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah; His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah; His Highness Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman; Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of the emirates.

They all greeted the UAE president on the auspicious occasion and prayed for more progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people.

Also present at the reception were Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region Shaikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; National Security Adviser Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Chairman of the Amiri Flights Authority Shaikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Minister for Presidential Affairs Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan; a number of other Shaikhs and senior officials.
